Why should I check the Team picker before posting or scheduling?

The Team picker controls the current program or team context. Team Feed posts and calendar items follow the selected team/program, so confirm the picker is set correctly before adding content.

Why the Team picker matters

  • The Team picker determines which program or team you're currently viewing and acting within.
  • Any post you add to the Team Feed will be published to whichever team/program is selected.
  • Any item you add to the calendar will be scheduled under whichever team/program is selected.

Tip

If you manage multiple teams or programs, get in the habit of checking the Team picker first — before you post an update or add a calendar event — to make sure you're posting to the right audience.
